At the beginning of 2010, we stand poised to rock the world of bicycle racing by being totally dominant in the Southeast Region and making our presence felt on the National scene. Along the way, we're going to impress you with our mission to spread the word of globalbike - bikes that make a difference for those most in need. We Support Globalbike - the non-profit organization

The Team is the main marketing effort of globalbike, a grassroots non-profit that supplies bicycles in third world countries to health care workers in poverty stricken areas. Check out this worthwhile cause here. The globalbike cycling team will be raising money throughout the season to provide bicycles to people who would otherwise walk to perform critical functions such as delivering HIV/AIDS medication in Zambia. On a bike, these people can travel 3x farther, carry 5x as much and see 3x the number of people.

2009 was a HUGE Success!

The team accomplished its mision in 2009, helping the globalbike organization double its operating budget, expand into 2 more countries, and connecting thousands of people to the globalbike cause. The team did so well that it was recogized at the Beyond Sport Summit in London England, where the team was awarded the "Best Project by a Professional Sports Team" by Doug Ulman, Chairman of the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

In 2010 the team will be traveling with the globalbike expo booth to raise money and awareness for globalbike. We'll be selling donated African coffee, t-shirts, socks, and water bottles. We'll also be passing out info on globalbike and managing a demo fleet of Catoma Tents, RJ Rockers Beer, and Boyd Bikes + Wheels. Come check us out and get your caffeine fix at the races. Look for the globalbike trailer and tent.
